The better the deal, the better the “Rave” about your ad!  AllCitySavings.com is offering a fantastic, low cost opportunity to market your business.  Please take advantage of this by offering your Best Deals and pass some of those savings on to your customersThis is the single most important Ad Tip you can utilize.  Nothing creates a buzz in your Community like an outstanding deal!
 

Purchase at least one week in advance.  All ads run from Sunday morning to Saturday night.  If you purchase an Ad Option and create an Ad on Monday it WILL NOT post until the following Sunday at the earliest (or any other future start week you choose)
 

A certain percentage of the population just loves Couponsbe creative…even if your business has never used coupons before see if you can come up with a creative way to offer them and possibly capture a new market segment!
 

It is a good idea for Coupons to expire in less than 2 weeks.  This site is designed for people to check on a daily or regular basis, meaning they won’t necessarily be shopping for coupons they plan on using 2 weeks later.  Create an incentive for the consumer to use the coupon immediately.  This also reduces the chances of your coupon getting lost in a pile of others over time.
 
Create a diversified portfolio on this site by utilizing multiple Ad types.  Read the Tips below on how to maximize the use of each Ad type.  Place as many ads as you like in other categories that you feel your target market may visit. 
 

You don’t have to go crazy and over-purchase long term Ad options on this site as it doesn’t have to take a large investment to produce great results.  We don’t believe that is an effective form of advertising anyway – Besides, consumers need variety.  It will almost certainly be more effective for you to place fewer ads, but on a more consistent and strategic basis over time.  
 

If you are having Closeout or Liquidation Sale, or any type of big sale where volume is the key to its success, this would be a great time to “blitz” your Ad campaign.  During the first and second weeks leading up to your sale, you want as many viewers seeing your Ad as possible.  This can be done very effectively and affordably by using the Side Bar Ads Spaces since you can choose to post in literally hundreds of categories!  The Featured Business ad space on the top of each Community Home Page is also designed to capture the largest number of overall views.
 

Don’t panic!! If your first few attempts don’t produce immediate results…remember… you’re not risking much.  If you are not getting the results you’d like, try changing your ad or coupon offering.  If you have a good friend – either another business owner or a consumer – ask their advice and don’t be offended if they tell you a “tough truth”.  
 
If your business covers a larger territory, then please feel free to place ads in multiple communities – there is no limit.  
 

Plan ahead - Ad space may sell out (especially before holidays)…you know how it goes.  Our 26 week and 13 week packages not only guarantee you the space, but at a lower rate than Individual Weekly purchases.  If you don’t like the package option you may just pre-purchase Individual Weeks at the going rate well in advance.  
 

Purchase the Featured Business Ad space well in advancethis may sell out very quickly.  This Ad Space is featured at the top of nearly every single page that your Community will be looking at…it will be impossible to miss.  This is a great opportunity to offer exciting news about an event or sale – start a Rave!
 

Please make sure you have read the Terms and Agreement before you purchase.  We know it’s long and boring, but it will give you a clear description of what you are purchasing, and it may also answer questions you didn’t even know you had yet!
 

This site is designed to grow a massive following in a very short period of time.  Being an “early” Advertiser in a new Community is not at all a bad thing.  There will be a lot of excitement around this site and you will be among fewer competitors!!  New viewers will be logging on continually and existing users will be logging on more frequently and at different times.  To reiterate point #1 – throw the kitchen sink at ‘em if you have to…at least you will get them talking.  They may even look for your future offerings!

Effective Strategies for Advertisers Using Different Ad Types

Standard Weekly Ads
 
(offered 3 different ways) These are designed to be the primary type for the AllCitySavings.com website.  They are offered in 26 Week Packages, 13 Week Packages, and as Individual Weeks.  It is important to utilize these because they will almost always be viewed by qualified shoppers as they are the only ads that are searchable in each Community by keyword and category.

  • TIP #1If you need to utilize more space for content on your Ad, then don’t put the name of your business in the top Content section, but rather rely on your business logo or a photo of your signage to state your name
  • TIP #2If you have Coupons, use the Content section of your Standard Weekly Ad to promote your coupons so that shoppers will feel compelled to click and read your coupons.
  • TIP #3 If your business fits into more than one category you can increase exposure by purchasing a package in more than one category.  To save on cost, purchase two, three or four – 13 Week Packages in their own categories and have them start on different weeks.

  • 1st Offering:  26 Week Packages There are only 4 26 Week Packages available for each Community, plus the top two spaces are reserved for 26 Week Package Ads.  This package offers the least expensive Standard Weekly Ad option - It guarantees space for up to one year (almost 2 years if you really want!) – And it automatically posts your Ad every other week 26 times!

Featured Business AdThis Ad type is the most exclusive of all the Ad types as it is featured on top of nearly every single page your Community will be visiting.

  • TIP #1Pre-purchase these well in advance before your major Events and Sales and before Holidays that have an impact on your sales.
  • TIP #2If you are lucky enough to reserve one or more of these Ad Options, don’t waste it!  Use it to the best of your advantage by **CREATING AN EXCITING MESSAGE – WOW!!!!!** 


Side Bar Ads These are the square Ads on the right-hand side of each Advertising page.  There are 2 different types: One focused on towards the Community and One B2B-type focused toward other businesses in the Advertising section of this site.  These Ads are the most underutilized and underestimated on the whole site!!  Read the tips to see why….

  • TIP #1 Post Side Bar Ads in multiple categories (other than your own) during the same weeks you have a Standard Weekly listing published on the site.  This can capture the attention of who knows how many people who weren’t necessarily looking for your product or service and draw them to your Weekly Ad. 
  • TIP #2 Side Bar Ads are an inexpensive way to draw attention from a different Community to your Weekly Ad posted in your own Community.  Just make sure you have a Weekly Ad posted for them to come and see!
  • TIP #3 Side Bar Ads do not allow you to upload a picture so use a powerful message to capture the pages viewers. 
  • TIP #4Post Side Bar Ads on pages that you think your potential customers are like to visit.  If your business appeals to the masses, then post Side Bar Ads on category pages that you think will get the most visits.
  • TIP #5 B2B Side Bar Ads offer a very good semi-exclusive opportunity to capture the attention of every single business that clicks the “Advertise Here” link!

Tips For Success For Registered Promoters 

Check Business Categories frequently.  When you see unused space there is most likely a great opportunity to market to those businesses in your area.

Every business is offered a one-time free credit that is good for 1 Standard Weekly Ad and 1 Side Bar Ad so you can be sure that many of the businesses you give a marketing brochure to will at least register for the free Advertising.  Many of those, after seeing the great value AllCitySavings.com has to offer, will go on to purchase more advertising so make sure to hand out the brochures to all of your favorite local businesses!

Don’t worry if you think a business may have already been contacted by someone else.  Many times a business will have to see several Marketing Brochures from several different people before they realize that this site is, in fact, a popular site to advertise on.

Promote this website at your comfort level, however; those that understand marketing will always print out a couple extra Marketing Brochures and keep a few in their pocket at all times.  Just one extra Marketing Brochure every week could potentially double your yearly Reward potential!

Please do not “hard-sell” the advertising to businesses.  This site is designed for all businesses to become involved at their own comfort levels.  Besides, nobody knows what a business needs more than the owner of that business.

Please be careful not to rudely interrupt business owners, managers, and employees during their work shifts (or anytime for that matter).  In the long run, this will only cause you and others discouragement.  Remember, the main cause for this site is to help people, and discouraging businesses by being pushy and rude will not help that cause.

The FIRP (Friend Invite Reward Program) gives you the opportunity to earn even more rewards by inviting your Friends to become Registered Promoters in other Cities and Communities as they are opened up as markets by AllCitySavings.  Here are some useful tips to help you…

  • Make separate email lists of all of your Friends and contacts ahead of time by checking the blog to see what Communities are on the horizon for opening up as new markets

  • Suggest new Communities to Dusty, especially if you have a lot of Friends in a certain Community.  We open up new communities based on feedback we get from Registered Promoters.

  • Go Big and Act Fast - While their is always opportunity for marketing, timing definitely gives you an advantage here.  The best Promoters will tell all of their Friends, no matter where they are, about this opportunity because sooner or later someone else will tell them.  Besides, they  may not be interested in becoming a Registered Promoter, but they may enjoy the Shopping, Advertising,  and the Charitable causes offered by AllCitySavings.  They may even pass your name on to their friends!

  • DO NOT treat your Friends as employees….PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Let them go at their own pace and let them learn on their own from the AllCitySavings website.  It is encouraged; however, to let them in on any “secrets” you have found to be especially effective
